Why reach one prospect when you can reach an entire company? One interesting telemarketing idea is to target business owners and human resource directors and pitch your product and/or service as an employee benefit. This innovative idea works well if the company is only a few years old and has a limited employee benefits package. Companies with limited benefits are always looking for cost-effective ways to attract talented employees.
One way to locate company’s that have limited benefit plans is to look in the employment section of your local newspaper. Try to find advertisements that list no employee benefits in their ad description. Most companies that have a solid benefits package will list exactly what they offer and those companies who have nothing to offer exclude this information. These company’s instead emphasize other positive attributes such as unlimited earnings potential, pleasant work environment, growing company and advancement opportunities.
When you finally reach the business owner or human resource director focus your conversation on how your product and/or service can add value to their existing benefits package. Let them know that your special offer is exclusive and that you only work with selected companies. Once they have accepted your product and/or service into their plan you could create a special web page for them that can be linked directly to their benefits package online. And finally, as an additional added value, you may even want to sponsor monthly meetings, bring food and remind employees of your exclusive special offer!
