Allowing Failure In Youth Baseball Drills

I’m sure you have heard the words, “practice makes perfect”. Or, “perfect practice makes perfect”. And while I enjoy the utopian view that someday I’ll get to coach the perfect team, or the perfect player, it’s just not going to happen. Especially not in a sport where failure is a common and frequent occurrence. It is vital that our athletes understand failure and be taught how to employ a strategy to use failure as a positive and not as a negative. It takes some rewiring in the minds of athletes, but it’s well worth the time spent.

Gas Powered Remote Control Cars

There are many types of remote control cars. Among them, we have those that run on fuel, electricity and gas. This article highlights the differences between each separate categories and help consumers make an informed decision.

Generally, gas powered remote control cars use a mix of oil and gasoline. The cost price for ready to run cars are about $1000 to $3000 more expensive than nitrogen and electric based cars. Since they are larger, they require more space for running and storage. They have a relatively lower top end speed compared to nitro and electric cars. They do not require a lot of fuel.

Going To A Baseball Game In Panama City, Panama

Although Panama is located in Central America, during the winter months soccer takes a back seat to the Panamanian National Baseball League. With 10 teams in the league, each province has representation. I’ve been lucky enough to attend numerous games here in Panama City and highly recommend it to anyone who visits. It is an experience unlike any baseball game you can experience in the States.

Boxing Memories Of Past Years

Boxing has been around for a very long time. During the great history of boxing were some amazing matches. These matches showed the true heart and determination of the human soul. They also show the power and skill that some boxers possess. It seems that these traits can not be found in boxers these days. I have watched quite a few boxing matches lately, and I have yet to see a match that is even close to measuring up to some of these old boxing matches. I am only going to look at one of my favorite boxing memories that I had when I was a kid, but I could discuss many more. The boxing match that I can remember very vividly in my mind was the Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Thomas “The Hitman” Hearns fight.
