The Problem With Diets

Weight loss is such a big issue in this country that the industry catering to it is a multi-billion dollar one. This is rather amazing given the fact there is a significant problem with diets.

A diet is essentially a change in a pattern of behaviors. You probably never really thought of it that way, but this is an accurate portrayal. The Grief And Comfort Of Organ Donation

My daughter had signed an organ donor card, but my husband and I did not know it. We learned about our daughter’s decision after she was severely injured in a car crash. My advice: Act quickly to take control of your information, because your livelihood depends on its survival. The key is to employ a service that monitors your backup every day, and sends you daily email confirmation that your backup has completed successfully.

Reflections On Loss And Recovery - Islands In The Stream

One of the delights of my week is the Sunday, New York Times Magazine. I get it mostly for the crossword puzzle but I also never miss, “Lives,” on the end page. These personal vignettes from varied cultures and backgrounds often cause me to reflect back on my own experience. Such was a recent column by author and scholar, Tom Chaffin.
